Rutherfordton Vies for HGTV HomeTown Takeover with your help!

Does your storefront need sprucing up? Maybe your front porch needs a fresh coat of paint, who knows maybe a little TLC is needed to bring back the spark of yesteryear? Well, the Town of Rutherfordton is looking for your help as we put together an application for the HGTV HomeTown Takeover.  Rutherfordton has the key components to persuade Ben and Erin Napier of the hit series Home Town to choose Ruffton! We are partnering with Dustin’s Way to produce the needed video submission to make this opportunity a reality for our town. So if you have a home with great architecture that needs some TLC or your storefront needs some attention please let us know. We want to begin this video work in the coming week. Send us your request and we will reach out as we begin to show HGTV why they don’t need to look any further than our wonderful hometown. We could also use your thoughts on ways to showcase aspects of Rutherfordton that make it special, fascinating, historic or unique in your opinion, as your thoughts will drive our storyboard and our interview requests for the video. We look forward to your ideas as we showcase our great community for this opportunity.
