Bobby Joe Stanley, 39, of Decatur Illinois passed away on May 8, 2019.  He was a native of Rutherford County, NC.

Bobby was a jack of all trades and did work in the construction industry.  He is the son of the late Perry Dean Stanley.

 Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Dawn Wharton Stanley and children, Zack Stanley, Cheyenne Stanley and Hunter Stanley.  Bobby is also survived by his mother Theressa Rodriguez, brothers Michael Stanley and Perry Stanley, sisters, Bridgett Stanley, Katie Stanley, and Kim Cox.

The family will receive friends on Monday May 13, 2019 at Crowe’s Mortuary from 1-2 PM and a memorial service will be held in the Crowe’s Chapel at 2 PM.

Judy McGee

Judy Baldwin McGee, age 73, of Rutherfordton, NC, passed away Wednesday, May 8, 2019 at Hospice of the Carolina Foothills.

     Judy was born April 10, 1946 in Rutherford County, NC to the late Charles E. Baldwin, Sr. and Flora Mae Upton Baldwin. She was a graduate of Chase High School, class of 1964 and a past member of Providence United Methodist Church. Judy co-owned and operated McGee Trucking for many years and owned and operated the Bo-Mar Beauty College.
      In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a grandson, Timothy Munsey; sister, Kay Dimsdale and a brother, Charles E. Baldwin, Jr.
      Those left to treasure her memory include her husband of forty-five years, Allen McGee; two daughters, Carla Womack and husband, Scott of Ellenboro and Sherry Carter of Forest City; two sisters, Phyllis Haynes of Forest City and Charlene “Tiny” Ware of Murrells Inlet, SC. She is also survived by two grandchildren, Wayne Allen Carter and Kaylee Mae Grace McDaniel.
       A graveside service will be conducted at 3:30 p.m. on Monday, May 13, 2019 at Rutherford County Memorial Cemetery with Mr. Wayne Dobbins officiating. The family will receive friends from 2:00 until 3:00 p.m. on Monday at the funeral home.
       Memorial donations are requested to the Community Pet Center, 861 Piney Ridge Road, Forest City, NC 28043.

William “Bill” Raymond Cochran, age 72, of Forest City, NC died Wednesday, May 8, 2019, at Hospice House of the Carolina Foothills in Forest City, NC.

He was a native of Mecklenburg County the son of the late Raymond Joseph Cochran and the late Mamie Loretta Caldwell Cochran. William was a US Navy veteran. He loved to sing and was an Elvis impersonator. He loved to travel to different nursing homes and perform as Elvis for the residents. He was preceded in death by his wife Ola Mae Cochran, one son Kenneth Todd Cochran and one brother Richard Cochran.

A memorial service will be at First Baptist Church of Rutherfordton, NC at 11:00 AM, Saturday, May 11, 2019 with Reverend Tim Marsh officiating. The family will greet friends as they leave the memorial  service. McMahan’s Funeral Home & Cremation Services in charge of the arrangements.
