Two arrested after a man was found shot in Forest City.

RUTHERFORD COUNTY, N.C. —  Deputies were called to the scene at 127 Jacob’s Lane in Forest City where they found 25-year-old William Hunter Huskey suffering from a gunshot wound to his abdomen.

Witnesses said the suspects were seen running toward Elms Drive. More deputies responded and were able to stop a vehicle with the suspects in it.

Dustin Scott Sisk, 24, and Brandy Nicole Wilson, 35, face multiple charges after the shooting incident.

Deputies charged Sisk with a weapon of mass destruction and possession of a firearm by a felon. Wilson was arrested by the North Carolina Probation/Parole for a felony probation violation.

Sisk received a $25,000 secured bond. Wilson received a $30,000 secured bond.

Huskey was flown to Spartanburg Regional Hospital by Regional One and underwent surgery for his injuries.

The shooting is still under investigation.
