Sheriff Francis Receives “Patriotic Employer Award”

On 1-18-2019, Rutherford County Sheriff Chris Francis was recognized as a “Patriotic Employer” by  E.S.G.R. (Employer Support of the Guard and  Reserve).

Sheriff Francis had been nominated for the award by Deputy Jospeh McComas, who is member of the National Guard and former Marine. .
In nominating Sheriff Francis, Deputy McComas stated this about Sheriff Francis;

“ His outstanding performance and unwavering commitment to the men and women who work for him is well above the level I have seen in al my years both as a Marine and Solder. ……He prays for all the men and women who work under him….I have never met a leader more involved in the positive welfare of his employees……He really sets the example of the kind of officers he wants and I strive daily to be half the man he is.”

Sheriff Francis received a plaque and a Statement of Support for the Guard and Reserve which was presented by Mr. Wayne Barr (N.C. Employer Support of the Guard and  Reserve Committee Member).
