…AREAS OF BLACK ICE EXPECTED TO DEVELOP OVERNIGHT ACROSS THE NC
MOUNTAINS…

An extremely cold air mass will quickly move into the Southeast
tonight in the wake of the cold front. With recent rainfall, any
water on roadways will freeze as temperatures plunge below
freezing. This flash freeze may result in the development of
black ice. Caution is advised for anyone traveling tonight.
