SPINDALE — Nothing announces the start of the Christmas season like a festive gingerbread house. Learn how to make one of your own during a two-evening class this December.
The Isothermal Culinary Arts program will host the class on Tuesday, Dec. 4, and Thursday, Dec. 6, from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. each night. The instructor will be Pastry Chef Amanda Jones.
Learn tips and tricks from a professional pastry chef on making a great gingerbread house from scratch, complete with all of the festive decorations. At the end of the second session, you’ll have a completed gingerbread masterpiece to take home to impress your family and friends. Start a fun holiday traditions with the baking and decorating skills you’ll learn.

This is the second class in the college’s new Culinary Arts program, which will become available to area high school students in 2019. There will also be a wide variety of public classes like this one. Details on additional classes will be available soon.
