Bobby Parris, age 65, of Rutherfordton, NC, died Thursday, October 11, 2018 at the Willow Ridge Nursing and Rehab Center.
No formal services will be conducted.
Harrelson Funeral and Cremation Services is providing the services for Mr. Parris.

Mary Couch Ezzell, age 78, of Kings Mountain, NC, died Tuesday, October 23, 2018 at Peak Resources in Shelby.
     Mary was born March 3, 1940 in Greenville, SC and was the daughter of the late Claude Cecil Couch and Thelma Fowler Couch. She worked for Mauney Hoisery in Kings Mountain for many years before retirement. She loved cooking and baking for her family and was a member of Harvest Time Assembly.
     In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William Reynolds; three brothers, John, Charles and James Couch and a sister, Hazel Sprouse.
     Those left to cherish her memory include one daughter, Nancy Detter and husband, Lewis; two sons, Marvin S. Ezzell and wife, Mialy and Kelvin Reynolds all of Kings Mountain; one sister, Eva Swaney of Charlotte. She is also survived by three granddaughters, Brandy Wiley, Carolyn Rhyne and Shera Davis; two grandsons, Logan Ezzell, Adrian Ezzell, seven great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
     In accordance with Mary’s wishes, a private memorial service will be conducted for family and friends.
     Harrelson Funeral and Cremation Services has been entrusted with arrangements.

William Edward “Bill” Barnes, 91, of Spindale, died Monday, October 22, 2018 at White Oak Manor. A native of Camden, SC, he was the son of the late Edward Thomas and Effie Elizabeth Sanders Barnes. He was a retired textile manager and a member of Spindale United Methodist Church, where he sang in the choir for 66 years. Bill attended The Citadel, served in the Navy during WWII, and graduated from Clemson University. He was a wonderful father and grandfather, an avid golfer, and a lifelong sports fan.

Left to cherish his memory is his wife of 70 years, Dolly Graham Barnes of the home; daughters, Bonnie Barnes Counts and husband Benny of Chapin, SC, Patricia Barnes Kerr and husband Duncan of Raleigh, NC and Amy Melissa Barnes of Spindale; two grandchildren, Brantley Counts Hodges and husband Daniel and Christopher Bennett Counts and wife Carrie and his “new family” at White Oak of Rutherfordton.

Memorial services will be held 11AM Saturday, October 27, 2018 at Spindale United Methodist Church with Rev. Angela Burris officiating.
