TJCA-CFA Headmaster Joe Maimone resigns

After nineteen years as headmaster of Thomas Jefferson Classical Academy: A Challenge Foundation Academy (TJCA-CFA) Joe Maimone has announced his intention to resign effective July 31, 2018.

Maimone and his wife Georgia co-founded the NC public charter school shortly after the state legislature passed the legislation.

Ray Maxwell, Chairman of the TJCA-CFA Board noted that “Rarely does one encounter an individual so dedicated and passionate about education. His tireless work, along with family and staff, over the past nineteen years has created a unique learning opportunity for students at TJCA. We appreciate his vision for our school, and we wish him all the best in his future endeavors.”
