Celebrate the Royal Wedding with tea at Columbus Library

COLUMBUS, N.C. – Polk County Public Libraries are commanded by the Queen to invite you to the Royal Wedding Tea Party on Tuesday, May 15 at 2:00 p.m. A reply is requested to Jen at jdickenson@polklibrary.org or (828) 894-8721 x227 by Monday, May 14.

Join us at Columbus Library for a traditional British tea to celebrate the upcoming royal wedding. Enjoy hot tea, scones, and finger sandwiches while you learn about the art of afternoon tea from Kym with A Southern Cup Fine Teas and practice the etiquette techniques that Meghan Markle will have to master before she becomes the first Duchess of Sussex. There will also be a contest for best headgear… Come dressed in your finest tea party attire including a fancy hat or fascinator! Space is limited and advanced registration is strongly encouraged.

Polk County Public Libraries has two libraries, Columbus Library and Saluda Library, as well as outreach services.
