WSPA interviews a former WoFF associated church member about her “Slavery”

BRAZIL — The Brazilian authorities have already pressed charges against the WoFF related Brazilian churches. U.S. District Attorney reconfirmed today that “there is an ongoing investigation into the Word of Faith Fellowship. The Associated Press released articles this year revealing stories of human trafficking, unemployment fraud, and testimonies of former members.

There are five members and former members charged with assault, 2nd degree kidnapping, and assault by strangulation regarding an incident within the church’s sanctuary with Matthew Fenner. Four of the cases have been transferred to Buncombe County while Brooke Covington’s case awaits determination if her attorney is able to return to trial work.

The cases are stalled at this moment awaiting reports of federal, FBI and SBI investigations.
