RUTHERFORD COUNTY, N.C. — The RC Commissioners supported an Economic Development incentive package to an unnamed technology-related company. It is expected that the company will occupy the former Dan River textile plant in the Harris community.
The real estate broker, Robert Dunn, stated there was a multi-state location search. Among their considerations were the need for large amounts of power.
The company could bring at least 12 jobs with an annual salary of $36,000 with paid benefits. Details of the incentives offered are in the notice below.
EDC executive director Tom Johnson stated that an announcement may be made within 60 days.
