Column: The gift of giving

Between Black Friday sales and Cyber Monday sales, there was the gift of thanks. I was fortunate enough to receive:

  • music being played for the joy of harmony
  • the legal advice of a good friend
  • and the gratefulness of those donations in our Go Fund Me campaign.

We need your help in continuing to provide real news, daily obituaries, arrest reports, and county activities. If we want a thriving, happy, connected community we need to have knowledge of our leadership, schools, events, and plans for the future.

You have free access to our stories 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

But providing these articles do cost us – time, travel to meetings, host fees, etc.

I don’t want to see another 500 error page stating that we are not available due to our server being busy. Neither do we want to create a paywall.

If you have learned something from us, enjoyed an activity we advertised, or just appreciated knowing how the news affects us, please donate to help us upgrade our server.  You have been a great part of our lives, won’t you help us continue with a donation?
