Mr. Kenneth Dale Bridges, 58, of Ellenboro, died Saturday, August 12, 2017 at Hospice House, Forest City.
He was the son of Morris J. Bridges of Ellenboro and the late Joann Putnam Bridges.
He is survived by 2 daughters, Erin Bridges and Megan Bridges; his son, Austin Bridges; and his 2 sisters, Pamela D. Harris and Kim Shires.

Richard D. Underwood, age 58, of Ellenboro, passed away Thursday, July 27, 2017 at the Hospice House of Rutherford County.

Richard was born November 14, 1958 and was a resident of Rutherford County for many years.

No formal services will be conducted.

A cremation service is being provided by Harrelson Funeral Home.

Mr. Carmen Ramsey, 92, of Sunshine, died Friday, August 11, 2017.

Dirk A. Webb, age 47, of Leicester, NC, died Tuesday, August 8, 2017, at his residence.

He was the son of the late Jerry P. Webb.

Dirk was an artist a great guitar player and loved music. He was a graduate of Spartanburg High School and attended Lees-McRae College and the Savannah College of Art and Design.

At the families request private services will be conducted at Fairfield Mountains Chapel in the Garden of Remembrance.

Charles Adams, age 71, of the Six Points Community, passed away Friday, August 11, 2017 at his residence.
Funeral arrangements are pending and will be announced later.

Deanya B. Pruett, age 86, formerly of Boiling Springs, NC, passed away Friday, August 11, 2017 at the Oakland Living Center in Rutherfordton.

Born August 26, 1930 in Catawba County, NC, she was the daughter of the late Colin and Zeta Bridges. She worked for Dover Mills for many years and was a past member of Race Path Baptist Church. Deanya loved traveling and was an excellent seamstress.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband of over thirty years, Forrest Donald McSwain and her second husband of thirty-five years, Donald Pruett; one daughter, Donna McSwain Wyatt and two brothers, Jim Bridges and Larry Bridges.
Those left to cherish her memory include one brother, John “Pete” Bridges and wife, Barbara of Ellenboro; sister, Peggy Smith of Shelby; two grandchildren, Michelle Arrowood and husband, Chad of Forest City and Shawn Wyatt and wife, Danielle of Tennessee; four great-grandchildren, Sophia Arrowood, Makayla Wyatt, Haley Wyatt and Tyler Wyatt.
