David Holloway White, age 73, of Mooresboro, passed away Monday, July 31, 2017 at his residence.
Born April 10, 1944 in Rutherford County, he was a son to the late Gifton Holloway White and Mary Cornelia Clardy White. David was member of Temple Baptist Church in Mooresboro.
Those left to cherish his memory include his wife of 51 years, Helen Simpson White; three children, Alan Holoway White and wife Amy, Lisa White Baynard and husband Eric, Sheila White Atkins and husband Brandon; brothers-in-law, George Haynes, Red Simpson and wife Jeanette; sisters-in-law, Ann Padgett and Mitch Owens, Darlene Padgett, and Judy Simpson. He is also survived by nine grandchildren, Holly Hensley and husband Drew, Danielle Richardson and husband Brent, Montana White, Laura-Lee Baynard, Sidney Marsh, Jonas Marsh, Izaiah Baynard, Jayda White, Donivan White; seven step-grandchildren, Michaela Baynard, Michael Simmons, Sherri Simmons, Steve Hollifield and wife Whitney, Nicole Hollifield, Zach Atkins and Victoria Walker, Megan Atkins and fiancé Austin Turner; seven great-grandchildren, Marlie Kai, Christopher, Bentley, Mason, Emilee, Elaina, Alyssa; special family members, Tina White, Tracy Webb; and a number of nieces and nephews.
The funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 pm on Friday, August 4, 2017 at Temple Baptist Church with Reverend Scott Butler, Reverend Sam Henderson, Reverend John Godfrey and Reverend Jesse Hardin officiating. Interment will follow in Rutherford County Memorial Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Thursday, August 3, 2017 at Harrelson Funeral Home.

Frances “Lucille” Eplee Martin, age 74 passed away on Friday, July 21, 2017 at Park Meadows Health and Rehabilitation Center in Gainesville Florida. Lucille was the daughter of Alonzo and Margaret Whiteside Eplee.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her brother Roy Eplee and wife Ruby G. Eplee; two sister in laws, Elaine W. Eplee and Marilyn G. Eplee. Lucille is survived by three brothers, Edward Eplee of Bostic; Herman Eplee and wife, Shirley of Ellenboro; Donnie Eplee and wife, Trish of Chiefland, Florida; Two sisters, Bernice Weaver and husband Gene of Matthews, NC; Lois Lindsay and husband Ray of Rutherfordton. She is also survived by a number of nieces and nephews.
Lucille graduated from RS Central High School. She retired from GEHR Industries as an Administrative Assistant in the personnel department.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, August 5, 2017 at 11AM Southern Baptist Church with Rev. John Perry officiating. The family will receive friends after the service. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Southern Baptist Church, 140 Church Street, Rutherfordton, NC 28139.

Sheila Blanton Harkleroad age 61 of Rutherfordton, NC passed away on August 1>st2017 at Hospice. Sheila was the daughter of the late Edward and Inez Fayra Stinchcomb Blanton. Left to cherish her memory are her daughters Angela Marie Buckner and Elizabeth Guin Bell; grandchildren Mikayla, Wyatt, Jana, Kade, and Harlie; Brothers Donnie, Tom and Al.
